Don't shoot me! If you want to kill the thread or re-post it as your own just do so, but I thought it could be a good idea to list places of interest when it comes to finding background or ideas for characters.
So, if you can't find anything suitable in your book shelf, you could look here for other sources. I don't mean it to be a list of books (maybe that should be another list?) themselves but of -where to find them-, preferably online since I assume most people know where to find a bookstore or library in their own home town..........

Some more online stuff... Grimms' Fairy Tales - 209 full-text Grimms' stories Aesop's Fables - 656+ different stories, including Aesop's Fables and collected stories from Ambrose Bierce, Hans Christian Andersen, Jean de la Fontaine, and several others. Sur La Lune - 45 annotated fairy tales, including their histories and variants. Also, approximately 30 full-text books by various authors regarding fairytales. A really good resource site! ~Snow~
